First Coast Plein Air Painters is located on the northeast coast serving Duval, Baker, Clay, Nassau and St.Johns counties. We paint at various locations in the area, go to art shows and occassionally dinner or socialize. It's informal with no dues or meetings. Contact: David Johnson
Next Event: Sep 6, Sat - Painting at the Fish Management Pond in Jacksonville FL starting at 8:30am. Located in the Lakewood area off of Old St. Augustine Rd. There are two ponds, water plants, woods, pavilion. Restrooms in adjacent athletic park.
Directions: From I-95 - Exit onto Emerson St and head west past Phillips Hwy and over the railroad tracks. Turn left onto old St. Augustine Rd and go around the bend to Stetson Rd and turn right. There should be a small sign for the fishery and the road sits at an angle. Proceed to the end and turn left into the location. It has dirt roads, so drive slowly around the pond. We'll meet at the pavilion. Hope to see you there!
